[Network for Sustainable Financial Markets] Mercer’s responsible investment (RI) team is seeking to hire an Associate or Senior Associate to evaluate investment managers of alternative thematic investment products and contribute to RI client projects. The successful candidate will be expected to lead research across alternative investment strategies, with a special focus on thematic funds including (but not limited to) cleantech, microfinance, sustainable forestry, carbon trading, social infrastructure and sustainable property.

Socially Responsible Investment and an Improving Market
[Fiscal Fizzle] One of the reasons that I wrote Socially Responsible Investing for Dummies is that people need to take charge of their own finances, but some people seem afraid to in part because they think it’s immoral or something. We have a lot of conflicts about money and wealth in our culture, and few people want to think that they are getting rich while making the world worse!
